Oil Painting with Liz Bonham
- This class is for adults of all ages and stages in their journey as an artist, from beginners to advanced. Mediums used to create your work of art will primarily include graphite, and colored pencils. Observational drawing techniques will be taught, encouraging originality throughout every step of the drawing process. Topics such as values, composition, form, and lighting will be covered. Favorite pictures can be used as the reference point, especially if they are ones taken by the student. Subject matter will vary, depending on what the student gravitates towards and prefers to draw.
The goal is to get each student to create an art piece which they will be proud to mat, frame, and hang in their home or give as a gift to a loved one. Classes are structured to help increase the student’s drawing expertise and confidence as well as provide enjoyable socializing experiences to all who join!
