Beginners will be introduced to supplies, color mixing and best practices as we bring everyone to the next level on their artistic journey. We will explore all new projects including florals, fruit, animals and landscapes. Enjoy a small class environment with attention to each student’s specific needs and learning style.

- This class is designed for adults working at all levels interested in learning oil painting principles. We will explore painting from life as well as use of photography using a variety of subjects. Beginners will learn first standard procedures and best practices, then will learn how to paint from life and explore the use of photography.
Liz is an award winning national artist and was recently featured in Plein Air Magazine’s article “Wintery Landscapes That Wow” and in Southwest Art Magazine’s “Editor’s Choice- Artist to Watch”. She specializes in individualizing instruction to meet the needs of each student.

Payment Policies - all registrants
To secure a registration in a class, workshop, or camp the fee must be paid in full prior to the start date. Once payment has been secured, if a registrant is unable to attend or wants to cancel a session (a full term, not an individual class), then that fee may be applied to a future class with the same instructor within 12 months. No refunds are provided once the session makes and payments are submitted. Returned check charge fee is $35. Class prorating cannot be instituted retroactively.
For Mr. Billy registrants
A sibling discount of 10% off the lowest cost class/camp is applicable only when registering two or more registrants from the same family and paying for both/all registrants at the same time. Classes are prorated by $15/missed class for late registrants.
For Mrs. Bonham's registrants
A session may be prorated by $15 if the registrant knows in advance that they will miss a class and notifies Elm Street Studio at the time of registration.
